Kamandalu Ubud ensures that we meet the latest requirements on rigorous hygiene and cleaning standards throughout public areas, including lobbies, reception, spa, yoga studio, pool areas and guest villas. Our resorts’ health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from hand-washing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest villas and common area cleaning procedures.

Guests can park by themselves, or our porter team can take care of this and disinfect the car thereafter.
Vehicles are clean and disinfected, airport representative and drivers wear masks and gloves. Hand sanitizer and protective masks are provided for your convenience.
We strictly ask you to wear masks while travelling in our vehicle. Our driver has the right to refuse providing his services unless masks are worn by all passengers.
Guests are required to wear masks at public area at all time.
For the safety of other guests and our staff, we do not provide any service to our guests who do not wear any masks.
Upon check in guests will have their body temperature checked, wash their hands and/ or sanitize their hands at the porte chochère.
We recommend that only one person per villa performs the check-in procedure. All pens and key cards are disinfected after each use and our front office team will provide all the necessary information before completing the process, to ensure that you are able to enjoy your stay.
Do Not Enter My Villa
This is a new option available to all guests. Although all services remain available, our employees will not enter your villa during your stay unless you request them to do so. Villa service deliveries, luggage assistance and other services will take place in front of your villa.
All luggage items are cleaned and disinfected before being delivered to villas.
Guests are requested not to bring food from outside the resort including no GoFood, GrabFood, and other caterings.
Service for reheating food is discontinued during the pandemic.
Restaurant and Swim-up Bar
For your safety and well-being, only Aira Cafe and Swim-up Bar is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, on an à-la-carte basis.
Each table is limited to four guests (exceptions can be made for families travelling together). Spacing between tables has been reconfigured to respect the requirements of the Indonesian government.
Body temperature check is required at the restaurant’s entrance.
Guests are kindly requested to use hand sanitizer before allowed to enter the restaurant.
Masks are required upon entering all our restaurants.
Hygiene measures have further been enhanced. After use, tables and chairs are disinfected. All tables and glass wears are replaced with new ones. Cutlery is handled according to Indonesian governmental regulations and the cashier and point of sale terminals are regularly cleaned.
Procedures regarding contact with our suppliers and delivery of all produce have been revised.
While cash method is available, we recommend to use debit and credit card or villa charge for any transaction.
Hand sanitizer and protective masks are presented upon check-in in villa.
Procedures have been further enhanced to include a special cleaning and disinfection plan for guest villas to ensure that all villa features, furniture and surfaces are thoroughly disinfected, in line with Indonesian government safety and health regulations. Beds are sanitized, as well as all furniture, fixtures and fittings. Daily villa cleaning schedule is from 10:00 - 15:00 based on request upon arrival or confirmed on guest registration form at front desk.
All linen is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected using the optimum detergents in their correct dosage. Laundry service is available from 8:00 - 15:00
Available from 08:00 to 22:00.
Procedures have been revised to respect privacy and ensure distance and hot boxes or cloches will be used at all times.
Delivery trays are disinfected after each delivery.
Facilities are conveniently located around the hotel (lobby, all public restrooms, restaurants, spa, etc.) and guests are advised to use them at regular intervals.
Guests and employees are advised to respect a 1,5 - 2 meter distance at all times and to avoid shaking hands.
Hygiene measures have been further refined to ensure that all hotel areas are frequently cleaned and sanitized to the highest standard. Particular emphasis is given to frequent touch points such as handles, handrails, door handle, key, etc.
Guests who feel unwell are kindly asked to inform us and we ask them to stay in their villa. In such cases, our in-house doctor is available 24-hour to fully support you.
Regular training sessions on housekeeping and hygiene protocols are provided.
During our daily meetings, our teams are reminded that cleanliness starts with simple acts of hygiene such as hand washing.
